Hearing aid repairs

We offer free in-office repairs when you purchase hearing aids from Marty Layne Audiology. Your hearing aids may need repair occasionally because they contain delicate computer chips and wiring that are affected by dirt, dust, sweat and age. If we can’t do the repair in the office, we will arrange a factory repair (for which the manufacturer charges).

Hearing aid cleaning and tune-up

• We highly recommend a complimentary clean-and-check tune-up as part of your preventative maintenance program. We offer these tune-ups on a walk-in basis on certain days of the week.

• The frequency of clean-and-check service is often determined by the amount of wax you produce and the environments where you spend time (for example, if you’re a woodworker, you might need more frequent maintenance!). Generally, we ask you to stop in every three months for your clean-and-check.

Reprogramming your hearing aids

We gladly reprogram hearing aids to meet your needs at a particular time. How you hear may change gradually over the years, or your preference for how you want your hearing aids to function may change (for example, manual volume control or automatic volume control preferences). If you purchase aids from Marty Layne Audiology, this service is free, for as many times as you need it and for as long as you own the aids.
